Real shame used to be a really good place but empty on a sat at 8 says it all. Sat down but left .no wine (waitress said we can go and buy some from the shop if we want some) some drunks at the bar making loads of noise a bit like it was a town pub! Dirty pan sat... More

My partner and I booked this B & B a while ago. As my patner works shifts he had booked the weekend off and we were both booking forward to it. Oh my God, I have never seen just a dump in my life. From the outside it looks very nice, but once you step inside it is a different... More

We booked a bargain overnight B&B, then read the reviews and began to get anxious what we might find. Needn't have worried, it turned out to be just the job. We had the 'Postlethwaite' with it's odd but spacious arrangement with a mezzanine en-suite and a comfortable bed. In the restaurant, the veggie menu was very limited but what there... More

Had 3 nights here last weekend. Like the casual bar and cafe and food very good. Room is spacious tired but clean. No free mini-bar as promised. Took an hour to get breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and as we had a long journey on Monday we asked for it at 8am - we're still waiting - the owner... More

I found the room to be very clean, spacious and imaginative in it's design. The staff were also welcoming and very helpful. The only concern i have is the lighting along the top corridor which can be illuminated by push buttons located on the wall but during darkness these are difficult to locate and as there is a small step in... We stayed here for the Buxton G&S Festival for a week in August with friends. We booked on recommendation of another friend who thought it was the best B&B in Buxton. By all accounts it was - a few years ago! The room was comfortable and the location very convenient but aside from those two strengths there was not much... More

My partner booked a surprise break for me to Nat's Kitchen. We stayed 2 years ago and had an amazing stay. Unfortunately our 2nd stay was nowhere near the same. To start with, on arrival we were showed to our room but were not even asked for our names. My partner had specifically requested the 4 poster room we had... More

not too bad but there is probably better in the area..the place has potential but for 75 £ for a double room i d expect something more..i must say that room and bathroom were clean even if the hall was quite stinky..the website is definitely better than what really is

We decided to have a well deserved weekend away and booked a room for two nights at Nat's Kitchen. PROS: On arrival we were greeted by a friendly gentleman behind the bar that showed us to our room. We were told that the drinks in the mini bar were complimentary (it was filled with Budweiser, J2O and water). The bathroom... More
