Excellent service with a very warm welcome. The staff couldn't be more pleasant if they tried... If you ever stay here I highly recommend asking for room 8!!!

We stayed at the Seven Stars for one night on our way to the Gower. We had a very friendly welcome from the owner who showed us our double room in the annex. Our room was clean and comfortable and as it overooked the fields at the back of the hotel was quiet and peaceful.
The breakfast was lovely and...

This place is right in the centre of Hay on Wye. Opposite the town clock tower. So if the fact that it chimes every quarter hour all night will disturb you, ask for a room at the back of look elsewhere. the building has some low ceilings in places so if you have one of the upper rooms, you will...

We stayed for three nights in Mid-November 2011. The staff and owner could not have been more welcoming and friendly - just what you need after a five hour drive! The House is packed with 16th century charm, big open fire place downstairs and low beamed ceilings throughout. Our room was very cosy, super comfy beds, flat screen TV, WiFi...

The location of the B&B cannot be surpassed, it is right by the Clock Tower...

We stayed for 2 nights in room number 1.
The owner was friendly and welcoming without being overbearing.
The room was quite small and basic; but it was clean and provided a nice place to sleep.
Note that it only had a shower cubicle, no bath.
The room is above the pool, so it was always quite warm.
We didn't...

I booked this B&B as a birthday surprise for my husband - he has MS and limited mobility and I was struggling to find somewhere suitable for us. The owner is a very friendly lady, who assured me that the ground floor room would be ideal for us - and it was. Although a bit on the small side, it...

Not many B&Bs can boast that they have a swimming pool but this one can! And with the typical British weather it is a real boon.
The landlady, sorry I forgot her name. was very welcoming and even rang us to check what time we would arrive so that she would be about. It can be very offputting to get...
