We found this fantastic B&B by chance through the tourist information office guide and it surpassed all expectations. A lit fire on and offer of a ground floor room (+ a glass of wine) on arrival were perfect for Stuart's sprained ankle and crutches, and for me following a day of driving through perthshire's beautiful scenery. I knew this was... More

In August 2011 we stayed one night in Upper Hatton. We were warned the road to the B&B was “forestry” but it took us some time to get to Upper Hatton. Driving a rental car and not being used to the right-hand wheel, it was an bumpy experience we’ll never forget ;-) On arrival we were welcomed by Gordon and... More

Tucked away in the hills near Dunkeld with excellent views, this was a hidden gem. And, well worth journey along the mile of track to reach it. First class accommodation and breakfast. Peacocks wake-up early so make sure you get an early night. Earplugs are supplied if you are a light sleeper. However, we will definitely return. More

The setting is magnificent with wonderful views, peacocks in the grounds, deer at the bottom of the garden and a visiting pine marten (although sadly we didn't see him). Spacious room with v comfortable bed, home made yoghurt/muesli/jam, local berries and the full monty if you wish at breakfast. Decanters of sherry and whisky in the room and clean towels... More

Home from home big spacoius room with four poster bed and en-suite bathroom with bath. There is a shower room downstairs which Marjory said we could use. She was lovely and very accomadating to her guests requirements. The room had everything you needed from a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. To the arrival drinks in your room of... More

Marjorie was wonderful. We stayed with her for three days and felt so at home! She was really quite helpful with suggesting places to eat and then making our reservations! Breakfast was so deicious and filling. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen and chit-chatting with her as she cooked. We also had a great hike up the mountain to the... More

From the first meeting with Marjory at her wonderful home, to sadly having to leave. I can honestly say we've never been made so welcome in a B&B. The wildlife, the views, the host and her dog. All made our holiday "JUST PERFECT. More

Don't be deterred by the forested road up to the B&B. Once you have arrived, you won't want to leave! Marjorie truly is "the hostess with the mostess"; nothing is too much trouble. Our breakfast was more than plentiful, and as a fellow guest put it, "Marjorie doesn't do "cutting back""! The B&B is in a very peaceful setting, surrounded... More

I spent two night at Marjorie's last September. It was my first trip using B&B locations. Upper Hatton was the I liked most. Having breakfast at the table in the kitchen together with the other guests, talking about what we've done yesterday and where to go next, while Majorie is baking eggs was an experience we'l never forget. The surrondings... More

My daughter and I spent a night at Marjory's B and B and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever experienced. We truely felt we were very welcome to stay in her home. The hospitality is heartwarming and the essence of Scotland. Well done Marjory , we will be back. More
