We stayed at Kinnaird Estate Guest House as part of group of friends who booked the house for sole use for a very short weekend break. It was simply excellent and just has to be the best Guest House in Scotland. The log fires were lit, the house was warm ( it was snowing outside) and the bedrooms were huge,... More

Spent a weekend with friends in the fabulous surroundings of Kinnaid house. Fantastic room with en-suite bathroom larger than many hotel rooms we have stayed in, amazing public rooms- enjoyed a glass of champagne in drawing room, prior to dinner (bring your own wine, dinner by arrangement). "gentlemen" retired to billiards room after dinner! A must-stay in Scotland. More

We spent two nights at Kinnaird House last week as part of a trip to the UK, and wish we could've stayed longer. Steve and Jo were attentive and friendly, the house and grounds are stunning and our rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed hours by the fire in the lounge. We stayed for two nights at this wonderful B&B where our family of four had two beautiful rooms for very reasonable rates. No longer operated as a fancy hotel, it still has the great feeling of an exclusive, rustic estate. The grounds were beautiful, and great views of the valley from the rooms and breakfast room. Breakfast was delightful. Wonderful... More

We thought this place looked beautiful from the photos on their website but we were awestruck when we drove up the long drive through the lovely grounds to find this palatial estate. We were met at the door by the hosts and brought to one of the two grand sitting rooms and served tea and shortbread by a roaring fire.... More

We stayed for three nights and it was wonderful! Breakfast was delicious every morning and we arranged for supper one night and the meal was out of this world! After dessert we had coffee in the study, where a fire had been lit for us. We couldn't have asked for more--beautiful rooms, beautiful property to roam around on and excellent... More

many years ago I visited Kinnaird Estate and loved the genteel opulence of the place and when I spotted it being offered as a B&B... at such reasonable rates... it was irresistible. The drive sweeps up to the house through velvet lawns scattered with sparring pheasants and substantial garden furniture. The doors open and our host and hostess met us... More

We spent 2 nights here, with our 2 teenagers, and easily could have stayed longer. The guest house itself is a beautiful mansion, set in rolling hills filled with sheep, cows, and bunnies. Our bedrooms were gorgeous; both were very large, beautifully decorated, and spotless. And the bathrooms were huge, and again, spotless. It's hard to describe just how special... More

We booked 4 nights at this beautiful scottish country house, where everything is on a grand scale, set in wonderful grounds and countryside with stunning views all around. We arrived late after 9pm where a warm welcome still awaited us by the house mangers who also looked after us during our stay. It is not licensed and we took our... More

This should be a glowing review, the hotel is lovely and the food delicious. However despite several emails and a telephone call, they did not take coeliac disease seriously; on departure they seemed to consider it something of a "fad". The food was delicious and we booked Kinnaird on the basis that we have never before gone wrong with good... More
