I have just come back from Butlins in Minehead. We spent 3 days for the 90's reloaded weekend and it was great. Easy to find, right on the seafront which was a bonus. Reception staff were great and very cheerful and polite. Accommodation was clean and we had daily maid service. Some of the bars got dirty as the weekend... More

We booked our trip a couple of months before we went & got a really good deal - £112 for 4 nights' room-only accommodation. I decided to add a food option & went for standard dining. My daughter ate for free so it was only another £124 for dinner, B & B for the three of us. Our holiday was... More

We went to the adults weekend 90's reloaded. The entertainment was brilliant, we had a complimentary upgrade to a gold apartment which was located within 50 yards of the action. Hot dogs in the skyline pavilion are rubbish, mine was served cold and the bread soggy. The rooms were lovely and clean unfortunately the different bars and clubs were not... More

Definitely got what we paid for bog standard accommodation. Chipped furniture dirty floors and extortionate prices. Asked to upgrade was quoted 200.00 for next basic accommodation. Entertainment scheduled was poor. Good for children but needs a lot of money spending on it to bring it up to standard. Upgraded to premier dining. Again not up to standard. One thing going... More

Our 5th family visit to Butlins, 2nd time to Minehead. We've rarely found much to complain about, but while the kids certainly enjoyed themselves this time around it's getting hard to avoid the impression that Butlins are cutting corners. Stayed in Silver apartment - very long trek to and from the car park - and with 'Premium' dining. We were... More

This was our first visit to Butlins and I didnt know what to expect - my fears of 1980's pontins were quickly dismissed. From the quick check in to the really modern Skyline Centre, to the masses of entertainement options - I was quickly impressed - as was my 4 year old girl when she spied the Redcoats!! We booked... Stayed in a gold apartment as a family of four with two boys aged 2 1/2 and 4 1/2. Accommodation compact with everything we needed. Mostly clean (top of kitchen cupboards very grubby as I discovered when I put cereal boxes up there!), location very good at the bottom left of the park, near the entrance, parking, skyline pavilion and... Myself, my husband and our 2 year old son stayed for 4 nights in the middle of June. The accommodation was basic but what we expected, it was clean enough and perfect for what we needed. The daytime entertainment was fantastic and brilliant for our son. We often visited Bob the Builder land where he enjoyed going on the rides... More

Would recommend it to anyone with children of any age - or even those without children. Park was lovely and clean. The gold apartments were lovely, we had a patio which i would recommend. The food at the sun and moon pub was outstanding. My 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed himself.
