We chose this hotel from TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a clean and comfortable hotel, whose owners clearly take a pride in providing great accommodation and a warm and friendly welcome. Each day is given a good start with a very tasty and well-presented breakfast in the pleasant dining room. We have every intention of returning.

Once again the clan rolled into Minehead for the annual summer jaunt and once again the Glendower Hotel did not disappoint. Brilliant, friendly service. Beautiful rooms that are clean and comfortble. Excellent breakfasts with an excellent range of teas (I do like my green tea in the mornings!) My daughter wants us to live here!! Mybe not sweetheart, but we... More

Everything in the previous reviews I can confirm is true. Situated in a quiet road not far from the main street and station, the Glendower looks little different to its neighbours. However here is a B&B that would give most large hotels a run for their money in terms of facilities and luxury. I would add to the comments already... More

The room was comfortable and clean and mine host friendly and unobtrusive. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of entrees including fresh fruit salad. The room had all the amenities one would expect in this day and age. I would happily stay there again.

Our second stay at the Glendower House this year, and we were not disappointed !!! The friendly welcome and excellent service together with the extras like the complimentary handmade chocolates were second to none. It is in a good location for the town, sea front and train station so there is a choice of things to do - try a... More

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and included a range of local produce. There were lots of extras to make us feel even more comfortable such as the handmade chocolates left in our room to welcome us as well as a full range of toiletries. Glendower House is conveniently... More

Glendower was faultless as a b&B - lovely spacious room with everything you could need, great breakfast with some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had and great service. Minehead itself isn't the best so probably won't be back but if it was anywhere else we would be!

We recently stayed in Glendower for four nights and we had booked one double and one single room. We found everything here excellent. I had nothing to complain about and would highly recommend the place.

I stayed for a week, and was totally impressed with everything. The room was spacious, bed comfy, breakfast excellent, spotlessly clean throughout, and felt very looked after by the staff. The view from the room was beautiful, and all in all, I had a peaceful week in a home from home, with excellent service. Thanks so much!! Sarah-Jane

As it's a seaside resort, Minehead in February is quiet, and many of the hotels and B&Bs are closed. But there was nothing "out of season" about the hospitality I received at Glendower House for 2 nights. Peter and Katrina know their business, and do what they do unobtrusively and extremely well. I stayed in a good sized single room... More
