We recently celebrated a birthday party held at the Hare and Hounds. The staff went beyond our expectations to make sure the event went smoothly. The food was excellent and everyone had a good time. Thank you everyone who worked on this event with us.

I was very impressed. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a cottage room: spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Staff on reception and in the bar/restaurant were pleasant and efficient. Food was good too. Can also commend the breakfast. Would certainly stay again next time I'm at Newbury races.

Chose this location after reading reviews and the fact owner took time to answer them. Rooms exactly as shown. Traveling with Brother so needed 2 rooms both were very good. Updated and clean. Good selection on the menu. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in many hotels in the this area, from manor houses to 4 star hotels. The H&H has a really homely feel, lovely quaint bar, superb food and extremely friendly staff.
