This is an old pub with rooms above. It can get busy in the pub and consequently noisy but it doesn't go on late. The pub has loads of character and has a good range of beers.
The rooms are basic but clean and include the usual tea coffee bits.

Outstanding value, clean and very comfortable room, very pleasant staff and all in a lovely setting. It was a Sunday night but by 1050 all was very peaceful (not noisy before that though the bar below was quite busy, serving excellent beer).
Ref. a previous review, yes there are only 3 TV channels IF you fail to select DTV on...
