Visited this pub while on holiday in the region. Unlike previous comments we found the food and service to be excellent. Place looks great, food was sub-par. Chips and salad were nice enough, meat was tough and (in one case) overdone. Took 50 minutes to cook. However, if you enjoy the cosy home-cooked feel of it, then it's not too bad. Worth a pop-in visit, but not a planned meal.
