Found a two night stay through Groupon for this hotel. Before purchasing, I called the Maynard Hotel to check on availability for May 2013 bank holiday weekend. What a find this place was ,booked on groupon ,stayed for two nights in room 10 which was truly spotless,cracking location ,lovely hosts,and a 1st class breakfast . Friendly helpful hosts. Very clean with very comfortable beds. Lovely lounge Plenty of choice for breakfast with full English freshly cooked to order. Just Returned from a lovely weekend at the Maynard Hotel. The Owners Angela and Stuart, are so welcoming, and were absolutely fantastic with are two children, nothing was a problem. Have just returned after a weekend away staying at the Maynard. The room we stayed in was very clean and the bed very comfortable.The hosts, Stuart and Angela were extremely friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Good value for money. Nice rooms, comfortable bed. Good full English, toast and all. Stuart and Angela very friendly. Comfy lounge BIG telly. Couldn't fault it. We hope to go back in the not too distant.
