This will be my 46th stay at the Hunters Moon, it's a real home from home for me and my family - Martin and Julie always look after us brilliantly. As soon as we leave we look forward to our next visit. Friendly and welcoming and fab food!

Once again, we've spent a perfect week at the Hunters Moon Hotel in Sidmouth. The setting could not be bettered - nor could the food or the service. It may have been cold outside, but the welcome and hospitality at Hunters Moon were as warm and friendly as ever.

The hotel is nicely located near the River Sid, with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. The hot drinks were good but I was surprised that there were no biscuits or bottles of water. The bathroom was nice with a decent shower but the bed could have been more comfortable.

An attractive hotel in a very pleasant location. Clean comfortable room, spacious lounge comfortably furnished, excellent meals and above all a friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Our third visit to this small hotel set in tranquil parkland and adjacent to National trust grounds. Rooms are spacious and quiet and the food offered is first class and plentiful.
