Spent night before leaving at Heathrow T5, room had been newly refurbished and was very clean & comfortable. Had only paid £24.50 for 1 night stay plus £7 for overnight parking making overall experience very good value. Check-in was quick & easy, no hassle.

Visited twice - before and after flying on holiday from Terminal 5. First visit on its own would have earned five stars. Checked in late; left very early. Room fine. I've stayed in various Travelodge hotels before with no problems, however this one was awful in terms of both customer service and presentation. I understand the hotel is undergoing refurbishment but it was hard to tell just which areas had actually been refurbished! Very convenient to the airport but my room was filthy -- huge wet spot on the carpet, sticky bathroom floor, and an overwhelming chemical smell that made my eyes tear up. When advised of these conditions, staff were quite snippy.

Automatic check in failed to dispense key. Receptionist looked irritated that we troubled him. Beds were crooked and only had one pillow per person. Reception did supply more.
