We stayed the night as part of our tour of Scotland. What a little gem to find. Sue and Chris informed us of all the local information and area which really interested us . A lovely sporty gem of a pub.

I was recommended the hotel and found it to be the perfect fisherman's rest with excellent food and as much help as you could need with information and support. The best small friendly hotel have stayed in

This is the second time that I have stayed here. Sue and Chris run a fantastic hotel. The building is older than the reign of Queen Victoria but still has all the modern things you need (wi-fi) A quaint pub is on one side and a large dining area is in the center. All rooms are upstairs. There is a... More

Have been stopping by on 4 holidays over the last couple of years, and it has been a pleasure every time... Sue is incredible with her eager to guide one to the local scenic spots and the food is just amazing... Especially the chicken and ham pie - Thanks Chris :-) Have just been there to eat, so can't say... More

Had a 3 night stay here from 2.8.11 departing 5.8.11 with freinds while doing three separate off-road mountain bike loops. The hotel is very homely...but what makes the experience memorable is the amount of attention Sue lavishes upon each guest to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as it possibly can be... nothing is too much trouble....that and Chris's... Recently my wife and son and I dined at The Inver Inn. From the moment we were welcomed by Sue we felt like locals. We dined in the Bar of this 1760's coaching house and the food was incredible. Together with the drinks it just kept comimg and Sue and Chris (in the kitchen) did not miss a beat. Log... More

Just done a tour of Scotland with two friends and stayed at the Inver for the first time. Other reviews have said it all - when you stay here its like going to stay with your sister. You immediately feel so at home due to the greeting from Sue. After you have settled in you soon find new friends from... More

Tradional style small hotel run by a welcoming couple Sue and Chris.Beautiful location close to the River Dee and Balmoral,on the main road so choose a room at the rear for quietness(the cars are infrequent but travelling fast) Superb food cooked by Chris, more like staying in someone's home than a hotel.

Once in a great while, one happens across a lodging that, for reasons specific or ineffable, touches a strong chord -- and embeds itself in one’s memory indefinitely as the highlight of a trip, or of many trips, whether alone or in the company of friends. Inver Hotel is such a place. It’s not the fanciest option in Aberdeenshire, nor... More

We had stayed in Braemar for the week prior to our stay and had been pretty spoilt with our accommodation so the Inver Hotel had a lot to live up to. We only stayed one night but throughly enjoyed our stay. The welcome from the staff was second to none and I cannot speak highly enough of any of them.... More
