Rooms smelt of a dirty mop very tired decor corridor door banging overall very disappointed with the stay never offered the good night stay in the morning.Was told hotel was waiting an upgrade still charged £70 for stay didnt want it for nothing but something off the bill would have helped

We stayed here to break our journey from Cornwall to Scotland. We had a great welcome and the room was comfortable, quiet and clean. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We ate here for our evening meal and it was fine. The breakfast the next morning was excellent and very good value.
