Had a very nice stay at this clean and quiet place, as we were walking the Hadrian wall trail. Spacious rooms, very clean and quiet, with delicious breakfast in the morning, and a Christmas gift of chocolate almonds for us as we left to walk further on Christmas eve's day.

Alice is a delightful and charming hostess who runs an immaculately clean and comfortable guest house. Great value for money. Excellent breakfast and thanks to her recommendation we found possibly the best curry restaurant in the U.K. (The Bari Indian, Seafood and Vegetarian Restaurant also in Carlisle).

This was a wonderful B&B about a 15 minute walk from the train station in a nice residential neighborhood. Helpful and friendly hosts. Rooms quiet at night and immaculately clean, comfortable and a decent size. En suite facilities again clean and roomy. Breakfast more than adequate, well presented and cooked. Wi-fi worked well ...and it's (like the parking) free! Would we stay again....without a doubt!!

My husband and I stay one night in this lovely B&B Friendly and knowledgable hosts Clean and beautifully furnished rooms Great freshly cooked breakfast with good coffee. Short walking distance to Carlisle sights. and parking available at hotel. The only regret we have is that we could not stay longer!

We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking Hadrian's Wall. The room was large, clean, airy and nicely decorated with a good sized shower room. Nice room,good ensuite and tasty breakfast. Owner very helpful and friendly Agood start to our holiday and nice to chat to other guest who were also having a good stay . Very easy walk from the station, even in the rain
