All 22 on our trip from south coast were very satisfied. Rooms were clean and warm, as was the whole building, bed comfortable, and staff friendly, polite and helpful. Food good and reached the table hot and appetising, with good choices. I would not hesitate to stay there again and recommend it without resevation. Thank you all.... Kay Hull

Fabulous evening meal and breakfast. Brian made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Once inside, the decor was completely unexpected, very well thought out. See you in the summer, thankyou!

1.The hotel and Staff were very welcoming; Efficient and clean. 2.The rooms (although ours was small, for a double bed) were well furnished, decorated tastefully and clean. 3.The food was excellent and sufficient in quantity.(see other reveiws). This could be due to the fact we were OFF PEAK and few in number; (only half full). 4.The catering / waiters were very... More

We were charged £82.00 for a room which could only be described as a bed sit. The view was of a wall & not a very attractive one at that. The 'full english breakfast' (I use the term loosely more acurately would be 'a part/half/attempt at a breakfast' was awful!!! First course porridge which we couldnt eat it had never... More

the best thing about this place was the entertainment the bingo and leaving. The food was less than appatising and we ended up going to the local chippy. The lift didnt work properley as the doors would crash together when closing and if someone pressed the button then the lift went back down without letting us off first. Overall we... More

A nicely situated hotel but with no porterage and an extremely small lift. I stayed there as part of a Leisuretime coach trip with my 25 year old daughter. The bedroom was quite good but there was no shower only a bath for a disabled person - although there was a bottle of shower lotion there!! Wardrobe very small with... More

The room was decorated to a very poor standard, broken knob on drawers, mismatched furniture, old velvet curtains and tatty nets. £108 for bed breakfast and evening meal for the two of us I have had the same at the Hilton!! Needs a massive refurb. Evening meal was disgusting beef salad consisted of a pile of shredded lettuce, pile of... More

We stayed at the Chatsworth Hotel between 15th & 19th August. The room was small, dingy, and unclean. The bedding when changed was mostly dirtier than before they changed it. A very small t.v,. wardrobe, broken and too small to accomodate our clothing. The bathroom had stains on the wall and was very small. Our view was of a red... More
