Found the food 'average' at best , and expensive for what it was,(not fantastic as described by others) it was typical garden centre food, place is nice,staff ok, but disappointed in the food!! Won't be going again-shame.

Went here with a large party for a reunion. The food was one of the best I have had, especially the homemade steak and ale pie. I visit the area fairly frequently on business, and after trying several other stopover options I found the Collyweston Slater, and I'm so glad I did - I now wouldn't stay anywhere else! Another return visit to the Slater at Collyweston. As usual, the quality of welcome was very high and the service excellent as always. I know exactly what to expect when I stay here, which why I keep coming back.

Ate here 9/3/2013. Good food and good service. Very tastefully refurbished. Its not local to us but we will be back and will also consider staying here. V handy for Stamford. Partners parents also impressed.

Stayed here a couple of times now and always have wonderful service, the beds are very comfortable and food plentiful and cooked well. The owners are always friendly and welcoming. We find it a very relaxing place to stay

We met up with 6 friends last night for a meal here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good, good sized portions and excellent value for money. 5 people had the steak and ale pie which looked home made and was apparently very tasty.
