We stayed at the Saltings for a couple of days in early December. The room was beautiful! Everything very clean, well presented and in keeping with the style of the proeprty (which I love). Although it is a short distance from town, it didn't bother us at all. I would imagine that the walk through the park to the old... More

We had a lovely few says at The Saltings. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in and shown to our lovely, clean spacious room. The bed was very comfortable, perfect for our relaxing long weekend. The one slight downside to the room was that there was not a shower fitted to the wall but this just meant we... More

Spent a perfect few days day at The Saltings at the end of September. The location is really lovely, very near Sandbanks and we managed to spend some time on the beach as the weather was super. Our room was absolutely lovely with the added bonus of a balcony and huge bathroom. Immaculately clean and extremely comfortable with delicious breakfasts.... More

We stayed at The Saltings as we were going to a wedding just down the road. Michelle was very accomodating when we arrived quite late in the evening showing us to our room and helping with our hundreds of bags! Our room was very clean and more than comfortable. The breakfast arrangements are really nice in that you can eat... More

No signs outside to give away this gem. It sits there anonymously and unsderstatedly, and that's fine by me. My wife and I have just finished our second stay of several days and it was just as great as last year. The house is a spit from the Salterns marina and hotel that sits on the quiet side of Poole... We stayed in the super de luxe room with the balcony and it was wonderful. Very spacious and fabulously clean. Gorgeous breakfasts too. This is better than a five star hotel and amazing value. Great walks in the area down to the beautiful beach and lots to do. We will go back as soon as we can. More

a wonderful place , lot of unexpected details, very clean, loveley rooms, design bath room and a first class breakfast. Michelle helps if you have special requests, e.g. soja - milk for the "müsli". We recommend this B&B without hesitation. Thank you for everthing, the 4 Germans. More

We stayed here for 5 nights in August & can't praise this B&B highly enough. The room was immaculate, with an array of different teas & coffees to choose from. The room had Sky TV, a DVD player, & most importantly a large & comfy bed! Breakfasts were fantastic - especially the choccy-chippy bread! Off-road parking as well. The B&B... More

We stayed for three nights in the Super Deluxe Room and it was worth every penny. The room and bathroom were both beautiful with extra little touches like bathrobes and M&S toiletries you would not normally expect in a B&B. Breakfast was excellent, your own choice every day but I must mention the fresh fruit salad that greeted us every... More

We stayed at The Saltings for nine nighs in July 2011. And we enjoyed every minute ! If we could have stayed longer, we would have. We stayed in the super deluxe room and it was absolutely worth it. The room is large and airy. It feels crisp and clean. The bathroom alone is a dream. With «real size» toiletries,... More
