As a regular business visitor to poole. I have uncovered the hidden gem that is Oakboune B&B. From the warm and friendly welcome that Ann and Brian offer to all their guests to the tastefully appointed rooms. Oakbourne has the 5 star feel from top to bottom, It is a pleasure to stay. I recommend Oakboune to one and all,... More

We have been coming down to poole from Liverpool for the last 12 years and this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in.We are so fussy about cleanliness and good food but Oakborne exceeded all our expectations, it was great.Anne and Brian where the perfect hosts..We will certainly be back. I had a one night stay at Oakborne and will definitely return if I am in the area again. The rooms are a good size, nicely decorated, well furnished and the 'Hosts' welcome is very warm and friendly. I had a peep in the other rooms in the morning and they were all equally good. There was a nice selection... More

Well, I can only really echo all that has been said on here by other guests! Superb accomodation, lovely hosts and fantastic breakfasts!!! The large bowls of freshly prepared fruit salad on the table each morning was just beautiful, and as much as we should have declined a full english breakfast every morning, we simply couldn't as it was so... Poole was the first place my parents, grandma and I stayed when in England, as we left the next morning for Guernsey. Out of all hotels and Bed and Breakfasts I have stayed in seven countries, this is the cleanest! The room and bathroom were sparkly clean. The bed was so comfortable, including the sheets, which had the faintest smell... More

Anne and Brian made us very welcome as soon as we arrived, everything was very clean and comfortable including the bed in the spacious bedroom. Food was excellent. All in all a lovely place to stay, safe parking with a super garden. Janice and Ricky Mitchell More

As soon as you arrived Anne and Brian made you feel very welcome. Rooms were excellent, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was second to none, nothing was too much trouble whatever combination of full english breakfast you wanted you could have. Anne and Brian's knowledge of the area was very good. Good location roughly 20 minute walk to the town... More

We had originally attempted to book a room at another nearby hotel for the night, but was told they were full. I asked if there was anywhere that they would recommend and the first one they mentioned was Oakborne. So, gave them a call and thankfully, they had a vacancy! The room was fantastic. Light, airy and large enough to... More

The Oakborne B&B, located in Poole, England, was an amazing welcome for our first night in the United Kingdom. Chosen for location because we left for the Channel Islands early the next morning, it was a lucky choice indeed. We also needed accommodations for the night of our return from the Channel Islands, with an initial return time of after... More
