Upon arrival we were shown into the lounge with a welcome cup of tea, then chose a meal for the evenlng. The reception we recieved was 1st. class, in view of the fact Mark had been at the hospital that morning with his wife Joni, who had,had an accident, with a suspected fracture of the leg Although only a small... Very stylish, individual hotel. Lovely decor with great attention to detail. Lovely, friendly and hospitable husband and wife team. Perfect atmosphere. Makes a change from all the many non-descript hotels in Llandudno. More

We stayed in as part of a long weekend with our teens a few years ago and returned between xmas and new year 2011 on our own. It is a great location, fantastic rooms and a wonderful warm welcome. I would recommend Joni & Marks beautiful hotel to anyone. You will not be disappointed. More

Stayed here 16th-18th with our dog, Bowie, and it was once again afantastic stay. We had a great room, big comfy bed, good food, compararible to so called luxery hotels in Llandudno. Hosts Joni and Mark made us feel very welcome. The Clontarf is without doubt the best place to stay in Llandudno, it is also extremely good value for... More

Stayed here quite a while ago now with my girlfriend in early October 2011 and have only just remembered that I really wanted to write a review to express how great I thought it was. Stayed in the Premier Supreme room on the top floor. Views were amazing looking out on to the orme as well as the west shore.... More

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 night break over Easter 6th to 9th April. We booked a standard room for £62.00 per night not really knowing what to expect .The room we were allocated (number 5) was rather small but it was adequate enough for our break and very clean, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits... I stayed at this hotel for a short break with my two children and my mother. The hotel is in a great location on the quieter West Shore of Llandudno. I chose this location as it is still close to the town centre but far enough away to ensure a good night's sleep and for it's proximity to the lovely... More

We have just returned from another stay at the Clontarf and the standards and comfort are just as high as on our previous visit All rooms are beautifully decorated with taste. The breakfasts are beautifully cooked and offer everything you could want. Mark and Joni are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is located on the... More

We loved our stay here! The Clontarf Hotel is in a perfect location, the beach is just a block away, gorgeous view from the room, quite & peaceful, good places to eat in easy walking range. The staff, Mark & his wife, made us feel like old friends. Our room was beautiful & I loved the whirlpool bathtub in our... More
