The Carmen was a lovely B&B, with very friendly and helpful owners. We were there for 3 nights while exploring North Wales. Every night we came back we were offered tea or coffee in the lounge even though there are facilities in the room, and breakfast was as good as it gets. Steve and Trish could not have been more... My Wife and i booked the Carmen based on the reviews on Trip Advisor . We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days away . The owners were attentive but not over bearing and run an excellent establishment. More

My partner and myself decided to get away for a few days over the half term week (as a teacher this was a welcome break) We were recomended the Carmen by friends as they had just recently stayed there. Trish and Steve, oh! and not forgetting Chloe their daughter, all made myself and Karen very welcome. we were greeted with... More

We had a lovely time at the Carmen, Trish and Steve were first class hosts. The accommodation was spotless and the breakfast was a high quality. Nothing was too much trouble and they were not phased by our extra guest 'Winnie' my guide dog. The lounge area was comfortable and the honesty bar was an honest value for money! Can't... More

As a last minute getaway for me and my wife, we decided to have a weekend away, choosing Llandudno as our destination. I logged onto t'internet and opened up, as we usually do, Tripadvisor. After reading a few reviews, I gave The Carmen Hotel a call. My first conversation was very easygoing and inviting. 2 nights booked, we duly set... More

As the Carmens buisness card says a hidden gem we were a little bit reluctant to book at first as there had been no reviews since mid December but on signing in we found it was under new managment and had been closed for minor refurbishment. When you pull up outside and look in the front window you get the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carmen -- from Dave greeting us with a lovely cup of tea and advising us on where to go sightseeing to helping us with our bags when we left. The B&B has a good location -- it's only a block or two away from excellent restaurants and just steps away from the boardwalk... More

This is a really lovely guest house. It was warm, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hosts, David and Gwen, could not have been more helpful and lent us maps and recommended where to eat. Ideal for a winter weekend even if the weather is cold outside! A real home from home. More
