Stayed at this hotel before and loved the trip. Stayed in a double room last time with a sea view as our usual hotel was full. Decided to "upgrade" ourselves this time to an "executive suite", this was our mistake. One of the most odd things we found was being asked to pay £1 an hour for Wifi access having... More

I think I must have stayed at the Cavendish for about 2 months of my life now over the last couple of months with work and it really is a little home from home. The sea view rooms are amazing, waking up to the sunrise over the sea is a perfect way to start the day. My only negative comment... More

on arrival we were very early (12pm instead of 2pm) for check in, and expected just to leave our luggage in the cloakroom, but the hotel said our sea view twin executive room, was ready, Well how delightful, spacious and clean, and with all the finishing touches you would expect and more. very large bathroom, excellent shower, we had dinner... We recently stayed at the Cavendish hotel with a double room and sea view. Prior to booking I specifically requested this type of room as we wanted to make sure we would not be overlooking a car park. We were not disappointed. We had a lovely time, the staff were very friendly and polite. The room was extremely large with... More

Every year I meet with friends for the high tea. Shared between two it is excellent value with sandwiches, toasted tea cakes, scones with cream and jam and cake. The view is great ad it a relaxed place. Definatley recommend.

Just returned from a one night stay at the Cavendish Eastborne and have no hesitatin in reconmmending this hotel for excellent service of all the attentive staff, exquisite menu and cleanliness. The buildind has an old world charm as it was built nearly one hundred years ago including high celings with huge chandeliers in the reception and bar areas, but... More

I stayed for just one night, and I wish I could have stayed for several more. The hotel, quite simply, is very, very nice. Not elegant in the sense of London's most expensive hotels, but beautifully appointed, friendly, and extremely well done. My daughter and I shared a very spacious room with a magnificent view of the sea. There was... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night last Sunday. The location is perfect, on the seafront, and a bit further along from the pier, where the seafront is a bit more quiet. We stayed in the newer built wing of the hotel and although we were on the side of the property had a wonderful sea view. The room... More

We just spent a friday and saturday at this hotel. We were lucky as the weather was fantastic. The hotel is very well located, and looks the part. Check in was friendly and welcoming, the room was large and clean. We had diner in the hotel both night and really enjoyed it; simple and honest (very refreshing). All in all... More

We have stayed in Eastbourne several times in a prestigious hotel but could not resist the splendid offer for a four night stay B & B in a seaview room in the Cavendish. We were agreeably surprised. This hotel is quiet, very clean and with some superb staff. Our room was a delight - spacious, with comfortable beds and an... More
