My wife and I recently stayed at the queens, on a weeks holiday with Alfa. It is the first time weve been to Eastbourne but we were very impressed with the resort, its cleanliness, its amenities and the general feeling of a good old English seaside holiday. The hotel looks very impressive from the outside and we were not disappointed... More

This beautiful building facing the sea and the pier is a fine comfy Hotel. The food is good and it's just had a facelift inside. If the weathers bad there is a show most nights and yes teens would not like it. Its like going back in time where good service with a smile at a price that's not beyond... More

Just returned from a weeks break at the Queens with alpha travel . Could'nt fault the hotel from the revolving enterance door which my grandaughter greatly enjoyed ,the bar lounge is very comfortable and the bar well stocked . The family bedroom we were given was basic but clean, the bathroom had been modernised and was very spacious. Yes as... More

I stayed here for the last week in March with four friends, my twin room was large enough and the bathroom was very modern and spacious. The menu was good and the food was tasty and very hot. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I loved the wide staircase, stained glass window and history of the building; altogether great... More

Thank you for your feedback, although I was sorry to read of your disappointment with the atmosphere at the Queens Hotel. I am sure that if you had spoken to one of the management team about the shortcomings in your room, they would have offered you an alternative room and ensured that the points raised were addressed immediately. You may... More

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at the Queens Hotel. I understand that you went for the John Romero Accordion Festival Weekend and the amount you paid included Festival activities and entertainment. All staff in the service areas speak and understand English. We had to serve the meals in the Sun Lounge and Regency Suite because... More

I stayed at The Queens to celebrate the New Year with two other lady friends. I had the single room on the first floor which was a very good size and the bathroom even bigger with a walk in shower. Lovely wide stair cases and the stained glass window on the first floor landing was breathtaking. A lovely old Hotel... More

Caught in rain by Eastbourne pier, we stepped in here as it had huge ad for Teas in front window. Reception staff rudely told us teas were off out of season, but he had no intention of covering his sign. Front area looked pretty tired & tatty. We went elsewhere (excellent Belgian Cafe further along the parade) & won't be... More

Firstly, yes the hotel is old, but it is still elegant and charming. The staff and the service was very very good. But the best bits are the antics of some of the fellow guests. I love to people watch. I must say that some of the things that the older guests do and requests they make of the staff... More

We stayed for three nights from 27th October and had a great time. Yes the hotel is old but thats the beauty of it. We had a sea view room that was a lot larger than many other rooms we have stayed in. It was clean and comfortable, a large double bed, dresser, two comfy chairs so what if it... More
