I stayed at Da Vinci last year after walking the Seven Sister's during the day. Loved the hotel and the staff were so friendly we sat drinking with them in the evening. The rooms were decorated very well although needed a bit of a spruce in places, although that has all been done according to Facebook. Lovely stay, highly recommend.

Had a 2 day break at Eastbourne which I have never visited. Very nice clean town quite, good shopping good eating places. We stayed at the Da Vinci which was very plesent. We spent a night in the da Vinci. The building is beautiful and very well situated, close to the beach and the shopping center and restaurants. You get all the feeling of lovely Eastbourne around. Given the choice to stay here again or a standard cheap brand name hotel I would take my chances with the latter. The hotel is decorated with all the style and panache of a mid life crysis, the money hemorrhaged on the "art" theme would have been better spent on the basics, new carpets and appointing the rooms with improved... Stayed one night over EAster to meet up with family Very comfy and spacious , decor nice n trendy , loved the shoe chair! Very spacious hotel, not like lots of others in Eastbourne mostly very cramp. Staff were welcoming and gave advice on area even though visited lots time. Breakfast good selection.

Reception/Bar areas imaginative, friendly and efficient greeting. Grade 2 listed building. Corridors & Staircase let the hotel down. Large and bright rooms, pleasant clean and functional en-suite with plenty of hot water. Breakfast good selection, freshly cooked, service a bit disorganised when busy - go early. Overall a pleasant stay, would return.
