Great service and best breakfast we ever had in Norway despite no elevator (only 2 storey) & location a bit far away (NOK150+-) from central. We will definitely come back again on next visit :p

What a shame, nice building completely neglected, why I don't know.
1 member of staff on reception over a holiday weekend , extremely dusty rooms thick with dust.
We had 2 rooms as we wanted to try out the loft rooms so we got one our second day (which we paid for) I wish we hadn't bothered as we were...

Dear dance_nicola,
We are sad to hear that your stay with us was not as pleasant as we would wish for.
The building were nearly completely renovated in 2011. Outside structure, all rooms, all common areas and almost all bathrooms were done to our and most guests delight. However, after reading your complaint I will personally go through every room...

I stayed at this in March 2012 as part of a business trip. We were five collegues travelling together, and when we were checking in the receptionist, after checking in two of my collegues, suddenly said that they had overbooked the hotel and that one of us either had to stay in "a spare room" with no bathroom or two...

Dear Maje,
Please do accept my apology for the situation you experienced at check in. We had some technical challenges with a bathroom that forced us to close it and therefore we experienced a overbook in beginning of April. It is possible it was the night you checked in, and obviously you should not have to suffer for that. I...

This hotel exceeded my expectations, and that does unfortunatly not happen often. The building itself seems quite worn down, and in a need of a face lift. But the warm and serviceminded staff, along with spacious and comfortable rooms, made this stay more than pleasant. The breakfast was also fresh and tasty. I would certainly visit this hotel again!
Was very handy for attendings ONS. rooms are basic. Bed is comfortable though
Thanks for your review !
Hope to see you back on the next ONS ?

I agree with the previous reviews of this hotel. It's quite outdated, but the bathroom is ok, though. I think that they have renovated the bathrooms at some point, however the rooms have been left untouched. We didn't pay much for the room so I wasn't that dissatisfied with the room.
Breakfast is ok, there's a basic selection of everything....

Very nice staff, excellent included breakfast. Rooms are not "last fashion", but large and clean. Free wireless internett. We were very positive suprised that they served a delicius buffet in the evening, included in the room-rate, monday-thursday. We´ll also book this hotel for our next stay in Stavanger.
This is the worst hotel I ever have visited in Norway.
I would strongly discourage people from considering this hotel.
There has been no upgrades or renovations since the early 70s, and it shows!
The rooms are worn out and smelly.
Some of my observations:
- Toilet flushing button missing. You have to put your finger inside the mechanism to...

This has to be one of worst hotels I've ever had the displeasure of staying in, in fact it was so bad I checked out after one night.
I arrived quite late at night and was welcomed (!) by a young guy who acted like it was his first day. After some confusion about which room I was to be...
