I stayed at this in March 2012 as part of a business trip. We were five collegues travelling together, and when we were checking in the receptionist, after checking in two of my collegues, suddenly said that they had overbooked the hotel and that one of us either had to stay in "a spare room" with no bathroom or two... Sad to see this Hotel in this state since i know it well from years ago. The hotel desperately need make-over, Friendly staff and ok breakfast, but please, do something, now!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations, and that does unfortunatly not happen often. The building itself seems quite worn down, and in a need of a face lift. But the warm and serviceminded staff, along with spacious and comfortable rooms, made this stay more than pleasant. The breakfast was also fresh and tasty. I would certainly visit this hotel again!

I agree with the previous reviews of this hotel. It's quite outdated, but the bathroom is ok, though. I think that they have renovated the bathrooms at some point, however the rooms have been left untouched. We didn't pay much for the room so I wasn't that dissatisfied with the room. Very nice staff, excellent included breakfast. Rooms are not "last fashion", but large and clean. Free wireless internett. We were very positive suprised that they served a delicius buffet in the evening, included in the room-rate, monday-thursday. We´ll also book this hotel for our next stay in Stavanger.
