We chose a hotel located in the Stavanger city center. Easy access by car and parking in the hotel basement made it very easy to get in/out of the city. The kid loved the pool even though it is rather small. I would not hesitate to use the same hotel again

Good for a business trip - which is what I was on. Otherwise the hotel is somewhat uninspiring. Room on the small side but otherwise, clean and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Like all else in Norway - expensive.

I have stayed in this hotel a lot of times. The rooms are pleasant, the hotel has recently gone true a soft upgrade (bathrooms). The location is very nice, and close to down town Stavanger. Breakfast is quite good The local restaurant is also good Overall a nice hotel, but a little bit expencive....(but again, this is Stavanger)

A typical business hotel. With all accomodations, clean rooms, nice breakfast and most of all very central adress close to city hall, railwaystation and Stavangers new and beautiful Concert Hall. Reception unfortunately less managed when checkout and some noise from trafic.

The Royal is not fancy but it offers reasonable value, is very clean, convenient to the Old Town, and has a full service restaurant and bar. Great room, not huge but clean and modern. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast above average. Hotel staff friendly and helpful and professional. Big thanks to reception manager Stina who helped make our stay perfect.
