May 2013. Billed at 5 star, but the breakfast room, decor and food in general is not 5 star compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed in. The bar menu is limited and only available at certain times, the decor is old fashioned and there is no spa or pool. Staff service is 5 star though! Nice bath products

The Continental in Oslo is well worth the extra money to stay there. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens and towels are exquisite. The art work around the hotel is stunning. Charming old hotel. Nice, helpful staff. I really enjoyed the Theatre Cafe, which as a great high ceilinged room as well as a nice mix of fancy and casual fare. However the room was so small it was amazing. with my suitcase open there was literally not room to walk around the bed on the way to the bathroom.

One of the best hotels in down town Oslo. We had booked a suite and had a great stay a week-end in november. You have everything right outside the hotel - shopping, theatre, cinema, Aker Brygge. And the restaurant in the Hotel - Eik Annen Etage - is definetely worth a visit.
