This great hotel has very good location. In one walk or run route you see a castle and park and harbour and fort .. adn you'r in center. My room was excellent, very good bed and quiet room.

Stayed in a big juniorsuite with balcony. Beautiful big room, big bathroom with both shower and bathtup. Only reason to stay at Grand Hotel is the breakfast, best in town and in the most historical cafe.

No matter where you are in this hotel the "club" across from the main entrance will be with you from evening until 2-4 in the morning. The rooms were somewhat dusty and a deliberate "dirt" trial was not cleaned up the entire 4 day stay. Linens had holes or were frayed. Service people were lovely but it is a tired... More

Perfect location just few steps away from all the main attractions. Excellent breakfast and good service, although some rooms are a little bit used and old fashioned. We had booked two singles and in the same price we have received two totally different rooms. Overall the hotel is worth recommending, especially if you are looking for the prime location.

Great location, a bit old, rooms (suites) could be renewed, service excellent. A good choice in Oslo.
