Excellent location because it is central, (in a relatively good area) and close to everything; Aker Brygge, Karl Johan, Central Station, King's Castle etc. You can walk everywhere. Nice and modern rooms, nice and helpful staff, and good traditional Norwegian food in the restaurant (relatively cheap). Breakfast was OK/simple.

For Norway, this hotel offered good value at NOK1500 for two double rooms, which were spacious & comfortable and included a good buffet breakfast. Very well located with cycle hire stand, bus and tram right outside and walking distance to station, harbour and nice restaurants - though note they provide free soup and bread in the foyer weekday evenings.
