I would expect more of a hotel of this size and price, whch somewhat disappointed me. The rooms are standard size (double rooms), but the heating was crazy in room. Ovens was on the whole time, making the room steaming hot, and turning down the AC/heating didnt help. Only solution was to sleep with open window. My room had wall... More

I have stayed in two different rooms in this hotel during the past week, as my visit to Norway involved staying in Bodo then moving up the coast before returning later in the week. The Good: - the staff were all helpful and pleasant - the breakfast was varied and fresh - the location was convenient. The Bad: - both... More

I'm a frequent traveler with a Club Carlson Loyalty Card Gold Elite and I sent a mail to the hotel on Friday 9th of March to book a room based on my room guarantee. My experience was that the hotel ignored my request until I rang them to remind them about the Club Carlson privileges. I also needed a meeting... More

Very welcoming reception and staff although the entrance is inside a small shopping centre. The building is easy to find as it is the largest building in the city and about 5 mins in a taxt from teh airport or 15 minutes walk. Rooms were very clean and nicely set out with all expected amminities. Breakfast was very good with... More

I just stayed here for one night for business. And the price shocked me! Almost 1900,- Norwegian kroner (340 dollars) for one night!! It felt like i had payed for a "mercedes car" but got a "bad second hand car". This is really a rip off! You can stay in five star hotels for the same price! I asked the... More

This is not an architectural perl, but its location makes it an attractive choice. Upon arrival, I was offered to "exchange a bed for a view" - they gave me a room with sofa only, claiming I get a fantastic view from up there. I assume this room was a part of the suite. By the time I found out... More

This was a pleasant enough place to stay for a couple of nights. Our room was high up, functionally furnished, with a view out over the town (ie not the harbour) - I would recommend trying to get a harbour view. The staff at reception were on the whole unhelpful, and in one instance, positively misleading.

WE stayed in Bodo on our way to catch a boat to the Lofoten islands. Staff were pleasant from the moment we arrived. Our room had a double aspect with superb views over the harbour Fiord and mountains and it was great for people watching. The room had an espresso machine with a selection of coffees. Breakfast was a good... More

WOW - the all round views - the long relaxing breakfasts and the really comfortable rooms are definitely worth a second visit. Staffwere delightful and the hotle is very quiet. Bodo is a lovely, lively place and although it was bright wall to wall sunshine at time of visit - I guess even in drizzle it could be fun.

I stayed at this hotel in the summer of 2010. I was given a room on one of the higher floors which had great views of the city. I had a business room which was a good size and nice furnished. The bathroom was old and looked dirty although I do think that was due to the age and not... More
