This is a large, rambling hotel for a small city. We stayed for a Nordic ski race weekend. The rooms were okay, but probably pretty good for such a small city. (Lillehammer is only about 25,000, despite its 1994 Olympic credentials.) Certainly the hotel is well located for proximity to Haakan's Hall, etc. Warning, if you walk from the hotel... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights for a conference in March 2012. We had read the reviews and really anticipated a dreadful stay. We entered the lobby and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. We were a little early for the check-in, so had to wait maybe 10 minutes to go to the room.... More

We had decided late to visit " World Cup" for Speed Skapinf 2012 in Hamar, and of course most local hotels were fully booked. Then, I finally found Radisson Blu Lillehammer Hotel, and our friends agreed that this must be a great solution, even though it was above the normal expected price. Well to cut a long story short, on... More

One would have expected that when a hotel receives a conference order of 300 delegates it would use the opportunity to exceeds standards in order to secure future business. Not so in this case. In fact I am surprised that the hotel is part of the renowned chain "Radisson Blu". For a start, my room interior was a blast from... More

Went to a two day conference here in June. It's quite far from the city center, and you will need to walk a good distance uphill to reach it. The hotel is one of (if not THE) oldest hotel in town, and it shows. Interior wise it looks old, a bit shabby and out of fashion. The food nothing special... More

The Radisson Blu Lillehammer hotel is placed abit out of the city center (10 min uphill walk from the train station) and gives you a decent room for the night, nothing more, nothin less. It's abit short of the standard I have come to expect from Radison Blu hotels, but the staff was pretty friendly, and the rooms were decent... More

We stayed here one night for my father's birthday. We have small kids, so we needed both a quiet room and an extra bed. We lived in a junioir suite, and there was extremely much noise from a christmas party in a hall connected to the hotel. Actually our kids didn't sleep until 01 o clock at night because of... More

For several years we used Lillehammer Radisson SAS Hotel when visiting old parents who live in the neighborhood. Eventually, service and standard was deteriorating and we have selected another hotel during the last 2 years. In connection with my husband's 60 years anniversary we chosed Radisson Blu (which is the new name of the hotel) this time because we had... More

The most fun thing about this hotel is that it's a big and rambling building with lots of strange corners and empty corridors. This would be cooler but the building is newish. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. Some of the staff could be friendlier is actually my main complaint. My room was large (a twin) and the wifi... More

Only good thing was the bargain rate of 100NOK per night for its 100 year anniversary, and the breakfast. Of course with this rate I did not have any demands, but if I had paid the normal fare and had the dirty sofa in my room then I would not like that. The room was ok apart from the sofa... More
