Hostel is in a great location. Rooms were fine. Staff were dreadful, v unhelpful. Unable / unwilling to answer v basic questions. Acted like they were stoned half the time. If the staff were good, hostel would be great.

Stayed in a mixed dorm with a friend. The room and beds were okay. Great location--walking distance from the train station and the shopping area. Only stayed one night but seemed very nice - the dorm was a good size and there were big lockers for each bed. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was big and clean. There was a common room downstairs and people seemed friendly, but the kitchen seemed limited to a microwave, kettle and sink. Also breakfast was quite basic... More

So this service was only really the bad thing at this place. I had to wait 15-20 min to get checked in because reception was counting money and just couldn't put down even though there were people waiting. But he was really good after in helping out and being friendly...really need more than one person to help at the desk.... More

My weekend getaway with my three friends in Vienna was great. We stayed in Westend City Hostel one night. Location was GOOD. Cleanliness was AVERAGE. Breakfast was VERY GOOD. Price was HIGH. (but i think it was worth) Security was VERY GOOD. RECOMMENDED!

Stayed here recently with a group of fellow students during our school trip for 8 nights. Typical hostel, fairly clean though and the staff was great--cute guys!! Breakfast was a bit dry, could use better coffee, I mean it's Vienna for crying out loud..Anyway would stay here again, prices and location were ideal!
