We were there around Easter, and visited several Easter markets, quite near by the hotel. Short walking distance to Stadtpark, Stephansdom and Hofburg, as well as to Schwedenplatz metro/tram station. Hotel lunch was also reasonably cheap, a glass of wine only 3 e.

This hotel is with 3 stars, so you can't expect much. But, the location is perfect, exactly in the Centrum on Vienna. Metro station nearby. The Hotel is quite nice and the prices are not very high. Good breakfast but rooms are rather small. An advantage is a location and a history of this place.

On the plus side, our room was reasonably sized, with a high ceiling. There was a nice bathroom with a shower and tub. Some of the rooms only had a shower. Hotel Post is situated right in the heart of Vienna. It met all our needs. Breakfast was always fresh and quickly replenished.
