On entering the chalet we were not made welcome, even though i was in a group of 4. We stayed at the chalet from 26th jan for 1 week with a party of 9, including 3 children. The chalet is located in an excellent position, very convenient for the main gondola & children's ski school. Very good location and decent runs, the Chalet needs a major make-over, but it's a 2**. The staff are nice, the food is basic but quite tasty. 2nd time here with a group, stayed in late 2012, found the staff much better, food was way better the Chef James produced outstanding meals and desserts, much nicer than this year 2013.... We travelled as a group of 12 and booked through Crystal. We all had a fantastic holiday, made even better by the greta staff. Jillian, Jo, Jenny & Cameron really looked after us, and John is a fantastic chef. Kitzbuhel is a lovely town, with lots of nice shops, bars & restaurants.

Very basic chalet in a great location, school dinners except smaller portions. Fire never lit despite daily requests (no wood apparently!) Some of staff not interested , other tried their best but just lacked training and experience.No boot store except damp garage In summation, dont go unless you prepared to go out to eat and have nowhere else to stay!
