I stayed here for a night last month. Real convenient location in Salzburg. Nice restaurants and sites to visit. Breakfast is just a roll, coffee and watery orange juice, so do not wait for it if you are ready to go. People running the place are very pleasant and helpful

We found the place clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable, but we had difficulty sleeping due to street noise. People seemed to be coming and going all night and the street cleaners and garbage trucks start around 5:30 in the morning. The church bells start ringing at 6am. We went out for breakfast.

I love this place. I stayed there 20 years ago as a young back packer and I brought my daughters there so they could experience what a youth hostel is like. This is a dorm/hostel. It's great for students or travelers not looking for a luxurious stay. It's comfortable, clean and definitely a nice place to stay. It's location is in a beautiful part of the city, not too far from the train station.

If you're looking for a college dorm, this is the place. If you want anything resembling a hotel and the expectations that come with even a basic room, such as soap in the bathroom, look elsewhere. That being said, the location is great and the building has a lot of charm. The rooms have none.

I spent four nights at this establishment. I had a nice big clean room with a window overlooking the street below – a nice change from the small budget hotel rooms I have stayed at in Europe.
