Haus Steiner is a wonderful B&B, having read the reviews on Trip Advisor I was not let down. The rooms are spacious, clean and if you have a mountain view all the better. Frau Steiner could not have been more welcoming or helpful with any questions we had. Although not in the centre of Salzburg it is easy to get... More

Our train to Salzburg sped over the Alps through horizontally blowing snow. A steady rain upon our arrival sweetened the mountain air as we drove the recognizable 6km along Moosstrasse, the road to Frau Steiner’s immaculate little B&B at the edge of town (http://www.haussteiner.com/info.html). We realized again that it isn’t simply the appeal of seeing our favorite European destinations; it... More

Just returned from staying at Frau Steiners(Rosemary's) and had to write this review.....The lady herself is lovely and kind and soooo helpful. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the views from the balcony are STUNNING! Great tip she gave us for our time there was to get the travel card. It allows unlimited bus travel and free entry to... We stayed in #3. It has a balcony and had a view of the fields / mountains. The room was clean and comfortable and the wifi worked great. The owner Rosemarie Steiner was extremely nice and helpful! The breakfast was good. We had a car so that made getting there to the B&B easy as well as a great home... More

That was quite a unique choice for a stay. Located on the outskirts of Salzburg, takes you about 15-20 minutes to reach downtown Salzburg by bus (not a trouble at all), but in return provides you with real Austrian experience. The nature is magnificent, with the Alps in the backgrounds. Mosquitoes could be quite annoying if you don’t keep your... More

I booked this b&b for a w'end away for my husband and I since the reviews were so good. I was expecting great things so that's propably why I was disappointed. It is located on the outskirts of the town with nice views and with easy access to the centre of salzburg. In hindsight I probably would have preferred to... More

We stayed with Rosemarie at her Haus Steiner over the Christmas holidays. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a wonderful experience. The view of the Alps from our room was stunning, and the location of the Haus Steiner is perfect for relaxing in the countryside after visiting the city center. Rosemarie is... More

We stayed four nights in October during our honeymoon and found this a great base to explore Salzburg. Location was outside the city centre but quite picturesque and an easy 15min bus ride into town. We stayed in the apartment which was spacious and had kitchen facilities, allowing us to prepare our own meals. Only downside was some insects in... More

We stayed at Haus Steiner for 2 nights. The B&B was great for its affordability and free parking and I don’t have any complaints about our stay but there is nothing incredibly unique or spectacular about this place that would differentiate this from other B&Bs and make it the number one in Salzburg. We noticed other guest houses/B&B’s in the... More

This guest house is ideally located, an extremely easy 'straight' drive into the city, where you can park your hire car in an underground cave system for just 5 euro’s(if you keep your day visit to under 8hours). We were originally looking to stay in the city center but the hotel costs and parking issues seamed unreasonable. In fact some... More
