Slightly inefficient but friendly staff, excellent room with lots of space but would expect a separate shower in a hotel of this standard - only disappointment was the food in the restaurant, definitely not Michelin star standard with poor service.

This is a great hotel that is steps from the Casino and overlooks the racetrack. Old style hotel with many different room types. They do not have irons there and charge a ridiculous amount to press clothes but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. If you visit Monaco, stay here. Fabulous location, elegant interior, attentive staff, food (both dinner and breakfast) first class. All in all a great stay. Unfortunately so busy seeing Monaco we never made it to the spa.

We stayed at the Hermitage our first night in Monte Carlo. I love turn of the century buildings. The room was lovely, the service excellent, and from the sun terrace you can watch the yachts pull into their slips as they return home from their day out on the Mediterranean.
