The Lantern Guesthouse is a very warm and welcoming place were you really like to stay. The people are overwhealmingly nice and kind and help you where they can. Joseph was very friendly and attentive. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Room was clean tidy, and roomy. Breakfast was good, with a fry up, if wanted. Will go back again to stay.

I stupidly left some clothes at the guest house, and Joseph posted my favorite top back to me in the UK, and didnt even ask for any money. The staff are really friendly, and the place is really clean. It is good value for money and very close to all the fantastic seafront restaurants.

I stayed for 5 days in one of the studio apartments they rent near the hostel (about 50 meters). The place looks like brand new. It's a small studio but everything, from the forniture to the bathroom or the kichenette was really well setted up. Just returned from a 5-day stay at the Lantern Guest House, Gozo. Joseph and his family were very welcoming and helpful. Suggest guests stay 'half-board' - as I did - no time limit for evening meal and the restuarant was excellant! Joseph and Michelle were wonderful! I stayed in the apartment across the street (it has two guestrooms, full access to kitchen, balconies, and bathroom). The room was tidy and pleasantly cool. I would definitely recommend it and the adjoining family restaurant (try the seafood pizza) to anyone visiting Gozo.

Room was cute, clean, well furnished and reasonably spacious with small balcony. Hotel is well-located to restaurants, buses, etc. Breakfast included fried eggs! Owner (Joseph) and restaurant owner (sorry, name forgotten) were very friendly and helpful. Joseph picked us up at the ferry terminal. We would definitely return to Malta, to Gozo and to the Lantern Guest House again.
