Booked one week yoga retreat with yoga traveller which included accommodation here. The beds were crawling with with fleas or bed bugs & there was a pungent smell of dampness throughout the apartment. The yoga was performed in a basement room with limited natural light. Meals were in the adjoining room which had no natural light - the poorest sight... More

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Village Ta Sbejha. The surroundings are beautiful, the apartments built round a courtyard/swimming pool with plants and palm trees. We stayed in Isaac a ground floor corner apartment comprising a living room, kitchen, bathroom and large twin bedroom, it had three sets of patio doors . It was adequately furnished and in... More

Just returned from a 5 day break at this property and can only repeat that this is a really nice place to relax in. The only sounds were of birdsong in the mornings. The "Village" consists of approximately 24 apartments of 2 stories high. The accommodation was very spacious, consisting of a large bedroom, lounge, good sized well equipped kitchen... More

We spent 10 days in the Village in September 2011. We found a spacey apartment, quiet surrounding, nice manager and helpful cleaning staff. The apartments on the ground floor are a little bit depressing with small windows and thick stone walls but we understand that there is due to construction to keep low temperature in the rooms (there is no... We stayed for 10 days in Annalise, a ground floor apartment. The apartment was well equipped and bed linen was changed on day 6, which we were well and truly ready for. The windows can be left open 24/7 as there are mesh frames on them, letting a cool breeze through. The celling fans were welcomed as soon as we... More

Very tranquil set of apartments (about 20?) surrounding a pool in the village of Gharb. Our apartment was cleaned and linen changed midweek. The rooms are big and comfortable with the standard type of mediterranean pine apartment furniture - nothing fancy, but adequate. Cooking facilities included an oven/grill as well as 4 gas rings + toaster, and we had a... More

Together with our friends, we spent one week In Village Ta' Sbejha on Gozo. The apartments are located in a small town Gharb, near beautiful cliffs and famous Azure Window. It is perfect location for those who want to spend a peaceful and quiet holidays in a typical Gozitan village (don't expect too much nightlife here). We really enjoyed the... More

We were here for a week, on a yoga retreat organised by Yogatraveller. First impressions were great, this place is in Gharb, on the extreme west of Gozo, you couldn't get more remote and tranquil. The place has a wonderful pool in the courtyard, surrounded by trees and foliage, and the rooms were spacious. On closer inspection, however, the furniture... More

We stayed for one week in July with 2 children, 12 and 9. Good Points Pleasant pool area Spacious apartments Small supermarket within a few minutes walk, fine for basics Car parking Now for the downside Situated on very outskirts of Gharb, almost in San Lawrenz. In July heat too far to walk into village. Definitely need car here. Too... More

This little complex is situated at the back of the village of Gharb (pronounced 'arb'). The village and surrounding area are very quiet especially off season. There are a few places to eat, Rangers snack bar, which serves nice pizzas, pastas and the like. Good value and one to take the kids. Salvinas is more of a restuarant, but apparently... More
