Exceptionally good hotel and it is in the best location possible. There are restaurants and cafes galore within a 5 minute walk of the hotel in a very nice, clean and beautiful plaza. Nice little hotel in a really good central location. Friendly staff and a decent, varied breakfast. Near to some very good restaurants and only 2 minutes walk into the town centre. Very good value for money and an ideal base to explore Reykjavik.

Stayed with a friend in January of 2010. Hotel was very clean. Wood floors. Room was small but it was fine for us, we were hardly in it. The location is probably the best part of the hotel. Visitors center next door. Groceries and restaurants all within walking distance.

Spent a week here, had a fantastic time. The beds are a little small, the shower is ridiculously small, and it's impossible to not drench the floor when you're done with showering. Spent 3 days/nights at this hotel. The rom was spacious and very warm. Bed was soo comfortable as we're the pillows. Tea and coffee facilities available only drawback with that it was powdered milk which I didn't,t like. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Overall a very pleasent stay.
