We arrived a little early after the morning flight from Manchester on EJ and thought we needed to at least find our home for the week after collecting the car. The apartment manager, Geir, happened to be in the lobby and he said nothing would be ready in our apartment, but he would get it ready early and text us... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in a small studio at Rey Apartments for 4 nights in March. The Flybus dropped us off about 10metres from the apartment and on pressing the bell, the owner greeted us and took us to our room - all very easy. The apartment itself is much more spacious that I had imagined and looks like... More

A group of us used these apartments for our stay and we hired the 3 bed suitable for 8 people. The apartment was very spacious clean and modern with built in free wifi, just perfect as none of us could live without the Internet. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the necessary utensils for the little time we were... More

Apartments are clean, spacious and well furnished. Everything you need for a long stay. The only minor issue is very thin windows and frames with virtually no sound isolation, fortunately place is pretty quiet, street traffic is low. There are two dedicated parking lots, but if you leave a car only for a night time you can use public parking... More

the apartment was spotless, everything was great, loved it, would go there again! Was no noise from outside whereas other travellers were complaining about being able to hear the big church (Hallgrímskirkja) bells every 15 mins. The sun seemed to get in at the sides of the blinds which would have been a problem in summer when its light all... More

We needed a room for one night and most of the hotels we were looking at were either booked or way too expensive. I found Rey Apartments on TripAdvisor at the last minute, and it was a gem! Much cheaper than any 3 star hotel I had looked at. Very central location (a block off the main strip in downtown... More

As a group of 6 girls Rey apartments was a prefect place to stay. We arrived at the apatments before check-in however our room wasn't ready, so we dumped our bags in search for food and a drinks. We were notified by the guy by text when our room was ready. Check-in was quick and easy. He showed to to... More

Stayed here for a long weekend and it was great. The location couldn;t have been better - one street away from the main street, right in the centre, a few blocks from the harbour and a 5 minute walk to the big church I'm not even going to attempt to spell! We were on the top floor so it was... More

Location is great, apartment (standard studio) was nice & clean, they also gave us extra towels when we asked. staff were available (either in the reception or on the phone) and very helpful. Price was good for Reykjavik... If you go there, try to get a backside apartment. the ones facing the street may be a little noisy on weekends.... More
