It is really nice that hotel old architect has been kept in originall style. Hotel is located in very good location if you are example travelling to Lapland. Hotel breakfast is excellent and hotel staff is extreme friendly. Negatives things are missing temperature control in the rooms and too less child seats in the restaurant. More

We stayed three nights during our Artice adventure, and Hotel Merihovi was perfectly located and adequate for our needs. There is wi-fi, breakfast, and a sauna. The food, howeve,r was spectacular. The dinner we had at the restaurant was one of the best we had in Finland! More

A little old but one of those places that makes up for it with a cheerful attitude. Although the furniture and decoration had a slightly "not quite antique, but....." feel to it, everything was just fine. The building and facilities retain their charm etc etc. A pleasant place to stay. More

Full recommendation to this hotel! I only stayed for one night but two full days (Overnight trains to and from Helsinki!) This really was a lovely hotel, homely room, warm water, amazing views cosy bar, but best of all the staff were very very helpful.
