Excellent hotel with an amazing breakfast buffet. The rooms were small, but very clean. Staff was very helpful and the location was great, only a few stops on the tram and you were in the middle of the city. Great place to stay, especially for those on a budget. Did I mention how great the breakfast was?

Good place to stay in Gothenburg. As others have said very close to the tram stop which gets you into town in 5 minutes if you dont fansy the 15 to 20 minute stroll. Terrific breakfast.

Hotel looks a little old fashioned inside and outside but very friendly personel and very good breakfast. One person room small but big enough. Privat parking lot and parking garage. Very close to the highway and 15-20 minutes walk to the town center. Buses and streetcars nearby.

Spar Hotel is a 3 star hotel that is 10 minutes walk from the busy avenue with many restaurants. It is fairly priced at about 100 euros a night. However, with a window overlooking the E6 motorway, good luck getting to sleep at night, sans Ambien!
