I got a good late deal from the hotel directly, but paid extra to have a larger room. This was still quite small, so if you are travelling solo, it is propbably worth the small extra cost of the larger room. Kind and personal service. Healthy basic breakfast. Good location, not to far from the main sites.

I can recommend this hotel the hotel have a nice scottish bar the bar/hotel is nice sittuated in the center with great shopping area unfortunataly they not making up the beds and not change clean towels every day

Nice location, great atmosphere. Hotel looks old but is well maintained. Very nice armosphere. I have stayed in almost all hotels in uppsala and this one is absolutely one of the top. Certainly in relation to the price which is reasonable.

Stayed here on business for a night and didn't really know what to expect. Inside the hotel is quite grand and the room was very serviceable. It wasn't modern as such (and intended not to be), but had some lovely furniture to compliment it. The bathroom had old styling but again this wasn't in the 'tired' sense of the word.... More

The hotel is very elegant and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. Staff is really friendly and our view was great (looking at the river and seeing the upper side of the castle).
