It is not easy to judge this hotel. I was there on a business trip and stayed for two days of meetings with the team. The facilities for that are outdated, wifi goes on and off but it definitely has its charm. The hotel has clearly had its best years. It is not very well maintained, the rooms are small... More

Stayed here in the off-season with my hubby (hoping to show off one of the nicer parts of my heritage). Also thought we'd get decent service as the place was dead. How wrong was I... Paid through the nose for a pokey room out the back overlooking the rubbish bins (nice!). Decided to have a couple of drinks before dinner... More

"skärgårdslördag" including dinner, 1 night stay and use of pools and spa. Very good food, nicely presented. The waitor was very alert and informative. We stayed at an appartment. Colour-choise was distinquished and light was used as decoration (spotlights). Nice bed and for once enough small bed room. You are in the bed room only to sleep so it is... More

The Sandhamn island is beautiful, with beaches, rocks, forest and a marina. Seglarhotellet is a rather big hotel for an island this size, and is explained by its history, being the headquarters for the Royal Swedish Sailing Society and located at a natural harbour that is very protected. The hotel has all amenities that could be expected for an upscale... More

Overpriced hotel. The spa was overcrowded and access to rooms was front 3pm. And checkout at 10am!! Breakfast was more like a youth hostel than a nice hotel.

Service: My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Sandhamn Seglarhotell. The reception desk was extremely helpful with giving us info on boat schedules, and helped us with flight changes. We arrived early, and although our room wasn't ready, we were given access to all their amenities. Food: The service in the dining room was average (the maitre d'... More

Rooms: Great view, comfortable. No mini bar, stuffy. Spa and Swimming: One needed to pay for robes and also pay 10kr to place your clothes in a locker. Usually not common to walk with money there if you are going for a swim. Practical to just charge to your room. Spa wasnt ideal. Was super crowded and once the bubbles... More

New England style building and rooms. Eyecathing main building. Nice spa area. Superb location with harbourview and activities. Excellent food. Suite with sauna and big terrace. Quiet once daytrippers vanished. Romantic island. Nice terrace. Breakfast can be better. The floor of the public area's was still sticky and smelling after the festival 2 weeks before. Me and my girlfriend went there for a night to try the spa. The food was alright and the room was ok though the ventilation whined a bit. Spa felt a little "cheap", water was a bit too cold and felt like any ordinary indoor swimming pool. They charged around 65 SEK for a bottle of beer. Even though you've... More

We booked 2 nights in one of the apartments as a mini-break whilst visiting some friends in Stockholm. Then we read the previous reviews of the hotel and were concerned whether we had made the right choice! All our worries were unfounded. The hotel is in a perfect location in Sandhamn, just a few minutes walk from the ferry and... More
