Stayed at the Karlaplan Best Western on Business for 4 nights (Mon-Thurs). Positives were: Friendly knowledgeable staff and good location . Negatives were: No aircon and the breakfast was not very good. (Aircon was required on one night as it was very warm with the windows closed. Unfortunately, opening the windows did not help as it was very noisy between... More

My stay in this hotel was fine, staff was very kind and always up for any help, single room was quite good, however bed was small but very confortable, pillows were amaizing, I enjoy the stay here. Breakfast was 4/5 not the GRAND BUFFET but enough things to have a great breakfast, fruit, eggs, juice, milk, coffee, charcuterie, cheeses, cereals,... More

We were fortunate to get a large by Swedish standards room for our four night visit. There was the main sleeping room, a dressing room off to one side with a writing desk, and a bathroom off of the dressing room. The complimentary buffet was large and fresh each morning with an American style breakfast of eggs, and bacon and the... More

Not really sure how this compares in Stockholm but this was very basic for the money. Dirty tablecloths in the breakfast area, clean room but no toiletries.

I am on business in Stockholm and was booked into the Best Western. I am currently sitting on the bed with my back to the wall and my feet touching the wall on the other side of the bed. Yes the room is so narrow that my single bed has about 40cm of space to walk around it. That is... More

Just don't come here. I have stayed in much comfier youth hostels for a fraction of the price. Nothing to recommend it - room ghastly no mod cons at all, breakfast redolent of motels, out-of-the-way location and absurd pricing. I didn't actually spot a rat or a cockroach, surprisingly, which was pleasing. The redeeming feature was the friendliness of the... More

I stayed here in a single room as it was half the price of the Rival when my friends (couples) were staying but frankly I should have stayed at the Rival which was many times better. Location - dull Bedroom - I have stayed in better hostels. Horrible tiny room which was below ground. Tiny window which I could not... More

We were assigned a small twin-bedded room on the top floor, which fortunately had a window that opened for fresh air; there was no A/C and it was warm when we were there. Without the window....it would have been quite unpleasant in the room. The breakfast buffet was good and it was set up early enough so on our last... More

Beware not all rooms are the same standard as some have been upgraded to a good standard. We were part of a bus tour and lucky to get put in a suite which was very roomy and had lots of little extras e.g. coffee making facilities, bathrobes and toiletries etc. the bathroom had an open shower with no walls. The view...
