Rooms are spacious and the hotel is very neat, unobtrusive staff. Breakfast plentiful and tasty.
Very close to the metro, not so close to the city center but Stockolm has a good public services plan. It is a half between a hotel and a hostel. Staff available. Bathrooms shared with the customers of the others room (some of them were out of service). Breakfast included but poor. Room cleaned. Very warn considering the low temperature.
This little place sure has a big price tag. But for what? It's an old and creaky hotel run by an unfriendly manager (always seems to claim she knows "nothing'). Breakfasts are very basic and bland.
Forget about asking them to manage a simple task like a morning wake up call. They spaced off our request. When we ask the...

I've always enjoyed the British sitcom from the 1970s called "Fawlty Towers," but staying in a hotel that reminds you of Fawlty Towers -- not so much. There were many little things wrong with this small hotel, not least of which was the wobbly doorknob and lock on our room. Instead of using a screwdriver or hiring a locksmith to...

Not a fancy-schmency place, but very nice and clean. More hostel than hotel actually, but if you're looking for a place to sleep a while after a party night - that's what you should go for!
This budget hotel is more like a pension or hostel. The location is great, near the metro, bus stop, park, cafes, shops and restaurants. The entrance is near Sala Thai restaurant, I had to call the reception via the intercom to get the door opened and carry the luggage upstairs myself - up to the old-style elevator.
The room itself...

Slightly hard to find. But really nice little hostel / B&B
Really good breakfast. Plenty of different types of bread and jam, juice, tea coffee, cucumber and cheese.
No kitchen but could buy tea and coffee out of hours. Nice clean shower rooms only problem is they are by the breakfast area so don't run through in your towel.

N.B: This review is for our stay in June 2006.
We stayed at the Wasa Park Hotel for 8 nights in 2006. It was more a cozy B&B that was situated in a a beautiful, well kept , old building with marble stairs and a quaint old fashioned wooden lift in St Eriksplan - a 10 minute journey by underground to...

If you're looking for affordable and home-like accomodations in Stockholm, this is it. We were there for two nights in November 2007 and found it to be well worth the price, which was VERY reasonable for Stockholm. The location is perfect for access to the Metro (2 minutes walk) and for the Bus to the Arlanda Airport (right across from...

Three of us stayed in one room at the Wasa Park Hotel on a Wed night. It's classified as a pension, with bathrooms in the hall. It's located in a beautiful building about a 20min stroll, or a 5min subway ride, from centeral central Stockholm, though there's a large park and cafes in the immediate vicinity. Also it's across the...
