We stayed for 4 days. Beautiful building, spacious rooms. Very clean. Professional service from the front desk. Only downside the room was quite hot at night and you can't adjust the temperature in the rooms, we opened a window, so we managed. Really great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful older, but up to date, hotel, greatest location you can get. The best breakfast ever and wonderful restaurant. We had a room with a balcony and enjoyed all 5 days. They have free bicycles, which is a great way of seeing Stockholm.

Nice hotel, the location is just perfect, the room is very spacious, they have umbrellas for the customers. Breakfast with a good variety of food. The only bad thing was the evil eye of the receptionist because we waited 2 hours in the lobby/bar, in order to leave for the airport.

Wonderful location and many rooms have balconies. A lovely older hotel that is well kept up, great location, and a nice restaurant & bar inside. Stayed at The Diplomat for the 2nd time - again location location location - ideal for a short stay in Stockholm - walking distance to all main sights, Palace, Gamle Stan, Vasa Museum, Opera - staff very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast excellent - Will if possible always stay in The Diplomat Hotel when visiting Stockholm (if I am lucky enough)

Stayed recently for 2 nights at the Diplomat Hotel, fantastic view in the middle of the city. Good food and special old furniture? Very nice and polite staff.

Hotel Diplomat has a fantastic location. Nowadays it seems to be THE strongest selling point for the hotel. The lobby is nice and so is the restaurant. The room, Grand lit - type I think, was ok, the overall feeling was worn out - scratches, stains etc in walls, lamps. My biggest complain is the staff. Very nice, polite, good... More
