Many of the worst hotels I have experienced have been in Scandinavia Under the pretense of being "green," you get tiny rooms, no washcloths, nonfunctional or inadequate HVAC, poor lighting, and horrible bathrooms. The Marriott is the complete opposite. The room is reasonably spacious and desk and bedside lighting actually let you read. It has a chest of drawers in... More

Lovely place to stay in Copenhagen. The hotel is situated right by the water with great views across the city. Good decor and very clean. The food in the bar is nothing special but it is a nice setting for a drink/meeting. Excellent breakfast and lunch buffet in the main restaurant. Good choice for exploring the city.

The facility was nice and the service quite good. Prices in Denmark are high and this place reflects that. Location is good. Food was good. Except for 'sticker shock' the stay was pleasant.

We stayed with our grandchildren (6 and 9 Years old) and had a very good time because of the facilities with gym and very good standard in the lounge service. 1 room was fine for the 4 of us. In fact, we have stayed at this hotel several times. The price is o.k. for a Copenhagen hotel. We were not... More

The hotel itself if a little outdated in style and decor, however, it's still an OK hotel. The staff are great. Very friendly and accommodating. The beds are awesome! Wow. Very comfy! Another nice surprise is the rooms are more sound proof that I've seen in a long time. Make sure you get a room on the river side. The... More

Coming to this hotel, you get exactly what you normally expect in every Marriott. The location is very convenient. The room was nice, comfortable, quiet and clean. Very kind personnel and helpful concierge helped me with late check-out and a reservation of a restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. Great breakfast buffet. However, I didn't like two details - firstly,... More

A luxurious hotel indeed but you have to pay quite a fortune just to have access to the internet! The 24-hour internet card I bought and used in the lobby was not even usable in our room so if you are desperate to work online in your room, you have to buy the privilege of connecting but beware, as soon... This is a nice hotel in a nice area. At the waters edge along a canal. Not a picturesque view however. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a connoisseur service available. WiFi in the rooms and lobby. There is a lobby bar. There is a spa and exercise room available that I did... More

the food is "fair" overall. i had a Cesar salad after a long evening meeting late wed night, about midnight i found myself in fever and other food poisoning symptoms. i finally self recovered and had energy to get up by Thursday morning and had called the hotel management to inform of the incident: first to review the kitchen, then... Firstly the positives - fair location, just a ten minute walk from the main train station. Lovely comfortable bed and spacious room. Really well designed lobby area and restaurant all overlooking the canal. Now the not so positives - no free wifi available anywhere in the hotel..it costs the equivalent of £5 for 15 minutes of Internet. The cosmetics in... More
