Hotel was hard to find. Adjacent to some ugly buildings. Staff is nice. Room is clean but nothing special. Hallways are unattractive with old rugs. View was bad. Breakfast average. More

I booked this hotel because others were unavailable or very highly priced during the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair. The staff was friendly and they allowed for a discount and a late checkout. The word "art" in the hotel's name is misleading: it is a typical old 2-star hotel with no art pretensions whatsoever. Nothing on the walls, no room decoration,... More

We stayed in Hotel Plaza for only one night but we were quite happy with the central location and the service. If you come as a couple, make sure that you reserve room No. 702 !!! We were lucky and got that room by chance. It has a huge terrace with a beautiful view on bay of Thessaloniki with Mt.... More

The hotel itself is quite good, medium standards but absolutely very clean. The most enjoyable thing is the location: central to all Thessaloniki's heritage attractions, close to the promenade on the sea, and most of it all close to Ladadika, the headquarter of the nightlife: bars, restaurants and clubs (rock and metal as well). Spacious: room with a separate sitting room. Remodeled. In Laladika where are the restaurants, bars and cafes. One cannot get to the hotel by car (small street) but convenient parking half a block distance (U$ 15.00 a day)Friendly staff. They even offered a late check out (3 p.m) without charge because they had no reservation for the room... Internet with... More

Just some of the reasons why we had a terrible stay: - there were construction works starting at 7AM: it was so loud that we just left the room... - the view was horrible: looking out of the window, you could see a huge grey building under contruction, not finished yet. It was probably 5-6 metres from our window. -... More

We booked this hotel because it was recommended in a tourist guide and also because their homepage is very nice. However, the marketing for the hotel is way better than the hotel itself. We had a room in the back of the hotel facing a rotten building across the road. The room itself was nothing like the homepage, it was... More

My wife and I visited the hotel from 03 till 05 April 2009. They gave us a room that was facing the back of the Hotel, just above a disco club. It was terrible :( the first night the base from the club was shaking the walls of our room till 4 o'clock in the morning. Next night it was... More
