Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good location in walking distance to all major sites and shopping areas . Hotel rooms are very old , bathrooms are mouldy and old , furniture is outdated and the room is very dark. Paper thin walls which you can hear everyone’s business . The hotel is in an area which has many club and bars so the noise lasts until 6am making it very difficult to sleep or rest in this hotel . Breakfast staff were friendly but the breakfast itself was very limited . I would not recommend this hotel when staying in Thessaloniki .

My hubby and I stayed for 5 nights. Great experience. The hotel is in a great part of Thessaloniki, close to all the cool coffee places, bars, restaurants. More than that though, the staff were phenomenal. So friendly and looked after our every need! Especially Petra,Dimitra, Sevi. The cleaners did a great job with our room and all the women in the restaurant looked after us 1000 per cent!! Good job! Keep it up!! We will be back again, definitely!!!!!

We went there with my family yesterday,at first everything was alright until we went into 101 room...the floor was dirty, the door of the bathroom was transparent, the little balcony was very dirty, the balcony door didnt close, the most serious problem we faced it was that right outside our room was a bustling bar with too loud music,we went to the manager to complain but he didnt care.that day we slept at 5:00.... The only reason that this hotel has even one star is the location were it is.Im very dissapointed!

Where do I start? This is without question the worst hotel we have ever used! And at £450ish for three nights, it wasn't the cheapest. Upon our arrival, my wife wanted to walk-away and check in somewhere else. I'm not going to go through everything, it would take too long, suffice to say we would never stay again and most certainly could not recommend it.

I arrived at the hotel on 15th September and I have to say that the location is perfect. Central but quiet, walking distance to the centre and 1 min away from the bus to the airport. Reception staff was amazing, they gave me all the information I wanted. Then I arrived in my room 111. And ...was a big bad surprise. The room is nice, but the view was the worst ever. You can see in the pictures. And then the cleaning...not sure how was done. In one of the drawers I found a receipt from 2014??(so no one cleaned that cupboard all this time??), also in the bedside table I found a dirty/ used map-not mine,of course...and the list is long.

Hotel minerva is at the center of the city. The room is renovated and clean but it is very small. Wifi connection is very bad. In the room, it is impossible to connect to İnternet. When asked to the personel of the hotel, the answer is; they just talked with the company and there is a problem with the line🧐🧐.

Located in a central position, near restaurants, music bars and clubs. Rooms insonorized, clean, beds confortable, bathroom small with bath tub with no easily access. Good modulation of the temperature, tv only with greek channels. The Continental Breakfast is sufficient (very good the yogourts and the fresh fruits), beautiful location for the brekfast room.

On my school trip to Thessaloníki I stayed at Minerva hotel. My first impression of the hotel wasn’t bad as I walked into the lobby but as soon as I went to the room my impression changed. The room wasn’t suited for three and we didn’t have enough space to put our suitcases.Furthermore, the bathroom was disgusting-it was very small and into the shower you could see mold which was awful-the bathroom door was transparent so you could see the person inside. Also, the A/C needed cleaning and the walls painting. It was a horrible experience and will not recomend this hotel. The whole experience especially the toilet was disgusting.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. It is very close to the street and you can hear every car noise from the outside. We could not sleep at night because of the loud noises in the street and also from the other rooms. Basically the walls are not at all soundproof. The wifi does not work. Breakfast was a total disaster, there were a few choices of food and they were not fresh. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth the price they charge.
